Learn how to delete your Sam's Cars account and what happens to your data
You can delete your account directly from the Sam's Cars App by following these steps:
1Log in using your registered mobile number and OTP.
2Tap on the Account icon in the bottom navigation bar.
3Tap on the Profile icon.
4Select "Manage Profile" from the account screen.
5Scroll down and tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the page.
6A confirmation popup will appear: "Are you sure you want to delete your account?"
7Tap "Delete" to permanently delete your account.
If you do not wish to proceed, tap "Keep Account".
Once you have deleted your account, we will undertake necessary steps to ensure that your account is deleted from our servers.
You can also delete your account by writing to us at privacy@samscars.in with the subject "Sam's Cars Account Deletion" or "Sam's Cars Partner Account Deletion".
In your email, please mention the following:
Once we have received your request for deletion of your account, we will verify this request by sending you an OTP on either your phone or email address to verify the authenticity of this deletion request.
Once we have verified your account deletion request, we will undertake necessary steps to ensure that your account is deleted from our servers.
It may take up to 90 days to complete the deletion process after it begins. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any data linked to your account post deletion will be deleted/encrypted/anonymized in accordance with applicable law.
If you're unable to log in or no longer have access to your registered number, you can request deletion by emailing us at privacy@samscars.in from your registered email with the subject line "Account Support: Sam's Cars Partner Account Deletion / Sam's Cars Account Deletion" (as may be applicable).
